SEND Teaching Assistant (Full Time, Temporary)

£444.60 - £465.00 per week (depending on salary and experience)

The School and Role

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in a friendly primary school in Cramlington, Northumberland. Working as part of an established team, the desired Teaching Assistant will be supporting in a large class primarily catering to children with SEND, this will include working with a mix of ages between Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. This will also include delivering daily maths and literacy interventions to small groups within this class. The role would be Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 3.30pm.

Requirements

The desired Teaching Assistant will have;

Experience of working with primary school aged children, ideally within Year 6 however not essential
Experience of delivering intervention support
Experience of working with pupils with SEND
A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
An ability to work as part of a team
