Head of Paid Search
£65K (gross) £39K pro-rata
3 days per week remote
Our client is a marketing agency headquartered in London, dedicated to helping brands act on intent before it happens. They process over 400 million behavioural signals per second to deliver real-time campaign activation, smarter targeting, and exceptional ROI across search, social, display, programmatic, CRM, and email channels.
They are now looking for an experienced Head of Paid Search candidate to take senior ownership of paid search strategy and performance across two major retail clients.
This is a part-time, remote role, ideal for a highly experienced paid search specialist who wants to operate at director level while maintaining flexibility (e.g. alongside family or other commitments).
Role: Head of Paid Search
* Sector exposure: Fashion, retail, luxury goods, and more.
* You will be the senior paid search lead across two high-profile retail brands.
* Confident managing and optimising c. £2.2m annual spend.
* Channels include Google Search, Google Shopping and Microsoft Advertising (Bing).
* You will operate as a trusted strategic partner to clients and internal teams, with full responsibility for performance, planning, and optimisation and day-to-day execution at scale.
* Collaborate with analytics, paid social, programmatic and leadership teams to ensure integrated, data-led strategy.
Experience required for Head of Paid Search
* 8–10+ years’ experience in paid search, with extensive experience managing large-scale retail budgets.
* Proven track record owning seven-figure annual search budgets.
* Strong experience across Google Ads (Search & Shopping) and Microsoft Advertising is a must.
* Background in e-commerce and retail; experience with luxury or fashion brands is highly desirable.
* Commercially minded, with a clear understanding of profitability, margin, and scale.
* Confident communicator, comfortable presenting to senior client stakeholders.
* Highly autonomous, organised, and effective working in a part-time structure.
* UK-based and eligible to work in the UK.
