Planner- £30k -£35k
Based Burnley - Hybrid Working.
So, you enjoy being at the centre of everything? That's certainly how it feels when you're in the Planner seat in a busy food and distribution facility. This role is a key part of the supply chain analysing data and reviewing stocks, talking to suppliers, working with the internal warehouse teams to ensure the customer is happy and the supply chain runs smoothly.
You'll be reporting into a Senior Buyer who is dynamic and passionate about the food industry, keen to make a difference and grow a team who will be the 'go to' supply chain specialists for the business.

The Supply Planner is responsible for:
Accurate stock management, planning and forecasting.
Managing stock levels and ensuring accurate inventory levels at all time for constant up-to-date visibility of data at all times.
Focus and awareness on trends and customer order patterns.
Daily communication with suppliers to keep ahead of orders, avoiding any stock supply issues and ensuring levels meet demand.
Working closely with logistics and operational teams to ensure efficiency of the operation from both the inbound and outbound supply chain processes.
What you need to apply:
Previous experience in a planner or stock control role in FMCG.
Enjoy working with and able to interpret data.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
Strong communication skills - written and oral.
Keen to learn and develop with the possibility to progress into a junior buying role.
