Your Role as a Reception Teacher

As our new Reception Teacher, you will:
✅ Plan and deliver engaging, play-based lessons that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
✅ Create a warm and inclusive classroom environment where all children feel supported and encouraged to learn and grow.
✅ Foster children’s early literacy, numeracy, and social skills through creative and interactive teaching strategies.
✅ Monitor and assess children’s progress, providing targeted support to help them achieve their individual learning goals.
✅ Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues to support each child’s development and well-being.
✅ Collaborate with the Early Years team to enhance teaching and learning across the Reception year.

What We’re Looking For

✔ A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent) and a passion for Early Years education.
✔ Experience teaching in Early Years, ideally in a Reception setting.
✔ A strong understanding of child development and effective play-based learning strategies.
✔ A creative and engaging teaching style that excites and motivates young learners.
✔ Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to collaborate.
✔ A commitment to creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
