Claire at Amber Mace is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Manager to lead a well-established residential care home in Stourbridge. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong leader to take the reins and drive quality, compliance, and a truly person-centred care culture.
The Role:
As Registered Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring that residents receive the highest standards of care in a safe, supportive, and homely environment. You’ll lead a committed team, manage regulatory compliance, and continuously work to improve service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

Take full managerial responsibility as the CQC Registered Manager.
Ensure the home meets all regulatory and legislative requirements.
Lead, mentor, and develop the care team to deliver outstanding, person-centred care.
Maintain high standards across care planning, safeguarding, and service delivery.
Build positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and external professionals.
Manage budgets, resources, and staffing levels effectively.
Prepare for and manage CQC inspections, audits, and ongoing quality assurance.
Requirements:

Registered Manager experience within a residential care setting – Essential
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Health & Social Care (or equivalent) – Essential
Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and adult social care standards.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
A caring, professional approach with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
