Teachwise is currently looking for an experienced Science Technician to work at a local secondary academy in the Oldham area.

The role is due to begin on 09/03/2026 will continue on a full-time basis, 5 days per week for the duration of the academic year.

The academy is looking for an experienced science technician who can hit the ground running and provide ongoing support to the science faculty.

Key Requirements:

* Previous experience working as a science technician

* Previous school based experience

* Excellent communication skills

* High attention to detail

* Ability to set-up and carry out practical experiments

* Provide ongoing support to the science department

* Stock control

* Familiar with all health & safety protocols

* Hold right to work in the UK

* Have an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service
