RATES:  

Days: from £16.68 up to £17.18 per hour (based on start time)    

Afternoons: from £16.68 up to £17.89 per hour (based on start time)                    

Nights: from £16.68 up to £18.08 per hour (based on start time)                               

Saturdays: £18.04 per hour                                

Sundays: £20.07 per hour 

Overtime: £20.80 per hour (after 10.5 hours daily)

****Expected gross annual earnings £47,500****** 

JOB DESCRIPTION:  

HG Recruitment are recruiting HGV DRIVER CLASS 1 in partnership with our WINCANTON client based in Runcorn.  Drivers are required to work Monday to Friday AM (between 02:00/05:00 OR PM (between 14:00/17:00), this would be a mixture between store deliveries and long distant trunking. Professional HGV Drivers are required to APPLY NOW. 

DUTIES: 

Adhering to safe working practices to always ensure the safety of yourself and others. 

Securing load of the trailer to ensure products are safely secured to minimise chances of damage. 

Always provide excellent customer service and to take ownership of customer issues on delivery. 

HGV Drivers must Carry out multi-drop deliveries within the delivery window in a safe manner. 

Be aware of any vehicle defects and bring to the attention of Transport Office as necessary 

Possess excellent customer facing awareness skills 

Be a good timekeeper and be able to work unsupervised 

Possess an Enthusiastic and reliable attitude towards delivering first class customer service 

Must have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work

REQUIRMENTS: 

HGV C+E licence – minimum 6 months 

Digi Tacho & CPC cards 

Maximum 6 points for minor endorsements 

Knowledge of driver regulations (WTD & Driver’s Hours) 

Good national geographical awareness 

Possess excellent customer facing awareness skills 

Good timekeeper and able to work unsupervised 

Enthusiastic and reliable with a commitment to delivering first class customer service 

Must have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work
