We are looking for a solid Civil Engineer to join a large, multi-discipline consultancy out of their Wigan office.

The Role

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality infrastructure design solutions across a range of development projects. Working as part of a collaborative design team, you will contribute to the technical delivery of schemes from initial concept through to detailed design and approval.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the design and delivery of infrastructure projects, ensuring work is completed on time and within budget.
Prepare highway and drainage designs in accordance with agreed engineering strategies.
Support the negotiation of technical approvals for adoptable works (S104, S38, S278 agreements, etc.).
Ensure designs comply with current Codes of Practice and Health & Safety legislation.
Undertake highway design, ground modelling, and external levels design (including Part M compliance).
Carry out drainage design and hydraulic modelling, including Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS).
Liaise effectively with colleagues, clients, and external stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

2+ years industry experience
Degree or HNC qualified in Civil Engineering (or related discipline).
Working knowledge of:
Highway design and ground modelling
Drainage design and hydraulic modelling
Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS)

Ideally you would have experience with Civil3D, AutoCAD, PDS/Flow.
