Registered Manager – EBD Children’s Home
Location: Bristol
Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 per year (dependent on experience and qualifications)

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead a children’s home in Bristol, supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). This is a meaningful opportunity to positively impact the lives of vulnerable children in a supportive and therapeutic environment.
A custom relocation budget is available for the right candidate who is willing to relocate for this role.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the children’s home in accordance with Ofsted guidelines and the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015.
*
Ensure high standards of care and support for young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs.
*
Develop, implement, and regularly review care plans, risk assessments, and support strategies.
*
Recruit, train, and manage a team of residential care staff.
*
Promote a culture of safeguarding and ensure the wellbeing of all children in your care.
*
Build effective working relationships with local authorities, social workers, and families.
*
Oversee budget management and ensure efficient use of resources.
*
Prepare for Ofsted inspections with the aim of achieving “Good” or “Outstanding” ratings.
Requirements
*
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – Essential
*
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy in a residential children’s home – Essential
*
Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection legislation.
*
Proven leadership and team management skills.
*
A commitment to delivering high-quality, child-centred care.
*
Eligible to register with Ofsted.
*
Willingness to relocate is welcomed and supported with a tailored relocation package.
