Mechanical Site Manager – Bicester – 8 Months

Location: Bicester, Oxfordshire

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to lead the delivery of mechanical services on a large scale R&D laboratory based in Bicester, Oxfordshire.

The ideal candidate will oversee all on-site mechanical activities, ensuring safety, quality, and programme adherence while collaborating closely with the wider construction and MEP teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and supervise all mechanical installation works on site

Ensure compliance with our client’s security procedures, CDM regulations, and relevant H&S standards

Review RAMS, method statements, and ensure all processes are correctly implemented

Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and client stakeholders

Track progress against the construction programme and deliver regular updates

Support testing, commissioning, and handover phases

Maintain QA records and ensure all works meet specification and quality requirements

Requirements:

Demonstrable experience as a Mechanical Site Manager on complex construction projects

Strong background in MEP building services installation

Solid understanding of mechanical and HVAC systems

Effective communicator with proven leadership and coordination capabilities

Ability to manage subcontractors and drive on-site performance

Experience on large industrial projects is a strong advantage

CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid certificates preferred
