We are currently seeking an experienced Sub Agent to join a leading civil engineering contractor on a 12-month infrastructure scheme based in Guildford. The project involves tunnelling and reinforced concrete shaft works, and the successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing site operations and ensuring delivery to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Site Agent and Project Manager in managing day-to-day site operations

*

Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and the client to ensure works progress smoothly

*

Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards

*

Monitor programme, costs and resources, reporting progress and issues

*

Contribute to method statements, risk assessments and project documentation

Requirements:

*

Proven experience in a Sub Agent role on similar tunnelling or heavy civils projects

*

Strong background in reinforced concrete and shaft construction

*

SMSTS, CSCS, and ideally a TWC or similar certification

*

Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills

Duration: 12 months
Rate: £350 - £400/day (Outside IR35 subject to determination)
