Job Title: 1:1 Primary Teaching Assistant - South Birmingham

Location: South Birmingham
Salary: £90 - £100 per day
Contract: Full-time, Term-time only

Tradewind Recruitment is looking for a caring and enthusiastic 1:1 Primary Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Birmingham. This role involves providing dedicated support to a pupil with additional needs, helping them to achieve their full potential in a positive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver personalised 1:1 support to a pupil with special educational needs (SEN).
Assist with classroom activities and adapt learning materials to suit individual needs.
Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored learning plans.
Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
Track progress and share feedback with staff and parents.

Requirements:

Previous experience supporting children in a primary setting (SEN experience needed).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
