We have an exiting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented Insurance Technician to join our team.
 
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone new or has just started out in the insurance industry as full training will be provided!
 
As an Insurance Technician with Guest Krieger, you will provide technical and administrative support to the broking team and assist in the administration of clients' insurance requirements. This is perfect position for somebody who is still relatively new to the Insurance Market, and full training will be provided to ensure you are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform the role.
 
Responsibilities:

Responding to incoming enquiries from clients, insurers, and other third parties in a professional and timely manner.
Working with the non-marine broking team to understand clients' insurance requirements and translate them into slip details.
Preparing slips and endorsements that meet current market requirements on the Xchanging Brokasure Enterprise system, including producing Tax Schedules on the TMF system.
Learning to load and track slips and endorsements to the PPL system.
Processing transactions on the Brokasure Enterprise system and producing evidence of cover documents, amendments to contract endorsement documents, invoices, and premium adjustments.
Monitoring the timeliness of the placement process to ensure Contract Certainty is achieved and FCA deadlines are adhered to.
Communicating with insurers and other third parties regarding the administration of clients' insurance needs.
Peer reviewing formal documents to be sent to clients.
Providing technical and administrative support to the broking team, and staying up to date on regulatory changes, licensing, and market developments.
Assisting with multinational accounts.
 
Qualifications:

Basic knowledge of the insurance industry, ideally with 1-2 years of experience in London Markets.
Role will primarily be working in Financial Lines and therefore any experience in this sector is preferential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage and track workload efficiently.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
A-levels or equivalent.
