We're working in partnership with a reputable, forward-thinking business in Birmingham that is entering an exciting phase of grwoth and transformation. They are now looking to appoint a commercially minded and ambitious Management Accountant to join their high performing team.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who’s ready to take ownership, drive change, and become a true business partner within a dynamic organisation that genuinely invests in its people.

What you will be doing:

You’ll take full responsibility for managing a single P&L and balance sheet, with a particular focus on cost control, financial analysis, and automation of finance processes. This is far from a "back-office" role. You’ll be working across the business, engaging with stakeholders at all levels, and playing a key role in shaping how finance supports strategic decision-making.

Key duties include:

* Producing and analysing monthly management accounts

* Managing and reporting on cost centres and departmental budgets

* Identifying cost-saving opportunities and financial risks

* Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes

* Driving automation and improvements in financial systems and reporting

* Acting as a finance business partner to non-finance stakeholders

Who We’re Looking For

This role would suit someone who is studying or newly qualified (CIMA / ACCA / ACA), with strong commercial insight. Most importantly, we're after someone who is:
