Job title: CAD CAM Technician

Location: Nottingham

Job type: Temp-Perm

Working hours: 6am – 2pm and 2pm – 10pm rotating

Rate: £15ph

AMLR is working in partnership with a reputable engineering company who are currently recruiting for a skilled reliable time served CAD CAM technician to join their team.

Specialising the worlds longest established supplier of compression tooling in the pharmaceutical sector.

Due to the nature of the market our client supplies into, all candidates must be UK residents and subject to a DBS check.

Responsibilities and Duties are required for the CAD CAM technician role:

* Able to use CAD CAM software to create models and programmes of parts for the manufacture of compression tooling

* Able to operate the die mould CNC milling machines

* Able to inspect own work using various measuring equipment such as micrometres, verniers, calipers, clocks and graphs

* Polish and finish fine detailed embossing

* Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical reports

* Able to work to minimal supervision

* Industry knowledge and experience

Qualifications and Skills are required for the CAD CAM technician role:

An Apprenticeship or equivalent City & Guilds qualification is desirable

Minimum 3 years CAD CAM experience
