BIM Lead
Location: Solihull
Salary: Up to £55,000 + DOE
An established building services consultancy in Solihull is looking to appoint a BIM Lead to join its growing team. This is a key role that will work closely with project teams, senior management, and external stakeholders to support the firms BIM strategy and project outcomes.
Key responsibilities:
Oversee the management and control of project information within Common Data Environments, ensuring compliance with agreed protocols and maintaining data security.
Carry out model validation, including geometric coordination and data quality assurance.
Provide technical problem-solving support, addressing issues efficiently as they arise.
Develop and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and project-specific training documentation
Represent the company at conferences, seminars, and workshops, ensuring knowledge transfer back into the organisation.
Manage sensitive and confidential project information in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
Establish and manage linked models, coordinating multidisciplinary models throughout the project lifecycle
Coordinate and manage BIM project datasets, workflows, and initial project setup.
Assist with the deployment and integration of BIM-related software solutions.
Perform day-to-day model administration, maintenance, and quality control.What we’re looking for:
Proven experience in a BIM Lead, BIM Manager, or senior BIM role within the built environment.
Strong knowledge of UK BIM standards and digital construction best practice
Strong communication skills with the ability to lead, mentor, and influence others.
Organised, proactive, and solutions-focused, with a high attention to detail.
