Job Title: Housekeeper – Private Household (HNW Family)
Location: Near Burford, Cotswolds
Salary: £38,000 gpa
Hours: Full-time – 40 hours per week, on a rota basis across 7 days

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and professional Housekeeper to join a private household in the beautiful Cotswolds.

Working within a supportive team and reporting to the Head Housekeeper, this varied and rewarding role will suit someone who takes pride in their work and has a strong eye for detail. You will play a key role in maintaining the high standards expected within this prestigious home, contributing to a warm and welcoming environment for both the family and their guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out daily housekeeping duties to an exceptional standard, including cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living areas
Laundry care, including washing, ironing, folding, and wardrobe organisation, with particular attention to delicate and high-end fabrics
Keeping all areas of the home tidy, well-presented, and stocked with necessary household items
Assisting with the preparation and running of events or family gatherings, ensuring rooms and service are of the highest standard
Working closely with the Head Housekeeper to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the household
Monitoring household supplies and managing inventories to ensure stock levels are maintained
Running errands such as shopping or accepting deliveries when required

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Previous experience in a similar role within a high-net-worth or luxury household
A discreet and professional approach, with an understanding of the need for confidentiality
Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, can-do attitude
Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
A team-oriented mindset, with the flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the household
Confidence working under instruction as well as using initiative when required
