The successful candidate will support the delivery of key civil engineering works across the highways programme, providing technical expertise, accurate setting-out, and ensuring compliance with design and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Setting-out for highways, drainage, structures and associated works

*

Oversee and check site activities to ensure adherence to design specifications

*

Produce and maintain key quality assurance documents

*

Support site teams with technical guidance and problem-solving

*

Liaise with subcontractors, designers and project management

*

Assist with progress reporting and maintaining accurate records

Requirements

*

Previous experience as a Site Engineer on highways or major civils projects

*

Strong understanding of highways specifications and QA processes

*

Proficient with engineering instruments and relevant software

*

CSCS card and suitable engineering qualifications

*

Ability to start as soon as possible

Location: Gloucester

Duration: 18 months

Day Rate: £300–£400
