Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for a Senior Engineering Manager ideally with a background in the nuclear sectors, to be engaged on a permanent basis, with hybrid working and based in Barrow-in-Furness.

In this role, you'll advise senior leaders on nuclear legislation, site licensing, and regulatory requirements. You'll manage key relationships with regulators, oversee nuclear safety governance and assurance, and support the development of safety documentation, including safety cases.

You'll also lead competence assessments, training delivery, and the implementation of compliant nuclear and radiological safety models. A strong commitment to promoting a positive nuclear safety culture is essential.
