Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Location: Swanley, Primary School

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant school located in Swanley. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our teachers and facilitating an engaging and nurturing learning environment for our students.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist the class teacher with the preparation and delivery of lessons.

* Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional help with their learning.

* Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs.

* Help maintain a safe and tidy learning environment.

* Support students during classroom activities, outings, and extracurricular activities.

* Collaborate with colleagues to promote a positive and inclusive school culture.

Requirements:

* Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Teaching Assistance.

* Experience working with children in an educational setting.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students.

* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

* Commitment to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of children.

Desirable Qualifications/Skills:

* First Aid certification.

* Knowledge of behavior management techniques.

* Experience working with children with special educational needs.

Salary: £70.00-£90.00 per day
