Hours:
Rotating Shifts — 5:30am–1:30pm / 2:00pm–10:30pm Monday to Thursday, with 5:30am–8:00pm / 2:00pm–8:00pm on Friday

Salary:
£30,000 - £40,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities of a CNC Machinist Setter/Operator:

*

Setting and operating 4 & 5 axis machining centres.

*

Producing a wide and varied range of high-tolerance parts used in the manufacture of precision machines.

*

Understanding CNC controls and contributing improvement ideas for the role.

*

Working within a team, adhering to strict Health & Safety guidelines and company rules.

*

Engaging in Health & Safety improvements and Kaizen initiatives to promote a positive working culture.

Key Skills of a CNC Machinist Setter/Operator:

Essential Criteria:

*

Understanding of milling and machining centre machines.

*

Experience in safely setting and operating automated CNC loaded machine tools.

*

Familiarity with cutting tools, fixtures, and measuring equipment.

*

Positive, can-do attitude.

*

Experience working within a team in a busy manufacturing environment.

Desirable Criteria:

*

Ability to edit and program from engineering drawings.

*

Completed a mechanical engineering apprenticeship.
