Security Controller (128dm) – Tewkesbury – £60,000 DOE

Contract Type: Full-time or Part-time (flexible)

DUE TO THE NATURE OF THIS RECRUITMENT CONSULTANCY, WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO REPRESENT INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE EX MILITARY.

Our client is seeking a Security Controller to join their team and help ensure the highest standards of physical, personnel, and document security across their operations. This is a critical role in safeguarding assets, maintaining compliance, and managing secure documentation.

Key Responsibilities Include:

* Maintain the physical security of the company's facilities

* Uphold and manage FSC and IPSA accreditation, including surreptitious threat mitigation

* Record, interpret, and brief on Security Aspect Letters (SALs) and implement additional security controls where required

* Issue internal security notices and reminders as needed

* Oversee company-wide security training compliance

* Conduct regular reviews and spot checks of all classified assets recorded in the Protective Document Register (PDR)

* Ensure all documents, media, and transport plans comply with company's Security Instructions and Government Classification Policy

* Maintain and distribute the Company Security Instructions

* Control and monitor access to sensitive areas and assets

What they are looking for:

* Current DV (Developed Vetting) clearance is essential

* Strong understanding of physical and document security best practices

* Experience with classified asset handling and secure environments

* Proactive, detail-oriented, and confident in enforcing security policies

* Ability to interpret and apply complex security directives
