Academics Canterbury are recruiting an enthusiastic and organised Year 4 Teacher to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Canterbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys lower KS2 and helping pupils develop confidence as independent learners.

The role as a Year 4 Teacher:

Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across the KS2 curriculum
Support pupils with reading, writing, and maths development

Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment

Track pupil progress and provide constructive feedback

Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents

Requirements of a Year 4 Teacher:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - ECTs welcome

Previous UK classroom experience is essential

Strong KS2 curriculum knowledge

Positive behaviour management

Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)

Right to work in the UK - visa sponsorship is not available
