Are you currently looking for an Equipment and Facilities Engineer position? We are recruiting for a leading manufacturing company in Cambridgeshire, dedicated to innovation and excellence. The client is expanding and seeking a proactive Equipment and Facilities Engineer to join their ever growing team. This full time permanent opportunity has a highly competetive salary and would be wokring 40-45 hours per week.

What Does the Role Entail?

In this role, you will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks essential to the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility. This includes conducting regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure. You will oversee the installation, calibration, and upgrading of equipment, ensuring it operates at peak efficiency. Facility management duties involve maintaining a safe and efficient working environment through day-to-day operations oversight. Safety and compliance will be a priority, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations. You will lead projects aimed at improving facility operations and will manage relationships with contractors and vendors. Documentation of maintenance activities and compliance certifications will be essential. Additionally, your hands-on engineering experience, particularly in chemical or semiconductor environments, will be highly valued, with specific expertise in wet etch equipment being advantageous.

What Skills Will You Have?

Understanding of electronic and mechanical principles.
Problem-Solving - Strong analytical skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to train and support staff.
Degree or HND in a scientific/engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
Experience in equipment and facilities management.
NEBOSH, IOSH, or similar are a plus.
Forklift License - Desirable.

What Is On Offer?

There is a competitive salary on offer between £40,000 - £55,000 based on experience, along with a range of other company benefits.
