Cover Supervisor - Secondary Schools

Location: Crystal Palace & surrounding areas
Contract: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible Supply
Start Date: ASAP

We are working with a number of welcoming and inclusive secondary schools in the Crystal Palace area who are seeking reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to support teaching and learning across Key Stages 3 and 4.

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced school staff looking to gain valuable classroom experience.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff

Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain on task

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Support pupils with their learning where appropriate

Provide feedback to teaching staff at the end of the day

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for individuals who:

Have experience working with children or young people (school-based experience preferred)

Are confident managing a classroom environment

Have strong communication and organisational skills

Are reliable, adaptable, and professional

Hold (or are willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service
