Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher eager to make a lasting impact on the lives of primary-aged pupils?
GSL Education are currently seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and forward-thinking school in Grantham. This role is available for an immediate start on a supply basis, with the potential for a long-term position.
About the Role:
As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that support the academic and personal development of pupils across Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2. You will play a vital role in fostering a positive learning environment and helping every child achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities of Primary Teacher:
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Assess and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
Promote a culture of high expectations, curiosity, and resilience.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to support pupil development.
Contribute to the wider school community and uphold school policies.
Requirements of Primary Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in primary education.
Proven experience teaching in a UK primary school setting.
Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and assessment methods.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Effective classroom management and behaviour strategies.
Adaptability, creativity, and a commitment to inclusive education.
A current CV covering the last 10 years (with any gaps explained) and an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
