We’re working with a well-established, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy in Edinburgh that’s looking to add a Geotechnical Engineer to their growing team. If you enjoy solving ground-related challenges and want to work on varied projects across Scotland and the UK — this could be for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

*

Planning and overseeing site investigations

*

Interpreting ground investigation data

*

Writing clear, concise factual and interpretative reports

*

Designing foundations, retaining walls and earthworks

*

Carrying out slope stability and settlement analysis

*

Collaborating with structural, civil and environmental teams

From housing developments to major infrastructure schemes, no two projects will be the same.

What We’re Looking For

*

Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology

*

Around 2–5 years’ consultancy experience

*

Strong report writing and analytical skills

*

Solid understanding of UK geotechnical standards

*

Working towards Chartership (ICE or GeolSoc)

*

A proactive, team-focused attitude
