* Location: Poole, Dorset

* Pay: £18 – £20 per hour (DOE)

* Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6:00am – 4:30pm - Friday off or used for overtime

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mazak Mill/Turn Programmer/Setter/Operator to join a precision engineering team in Poole. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled machinist to work with advanced CNC technology in a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Programming, setting, and operating Mazak mill/turn machines

* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications

* Ensuring high-quality standards and tight tolerances are met

* Performing first-off inspections and maintaining production efficiency

* Working collaboratively with the wider engineering team

Requirements

* Proven experience with Mazak mill/turn machines (programming, setting, and operating)

* Strong knowledge of CNC machining and precision engineering practices

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Attention to detail and commitment to quality

* Flexible and reliable with a proactive approach
