Description

As the Shipping Manager you will,

Support and develop the team to increase performance, engagement, and create a succession plan
Oversee and manage all shipping activities to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
Coordinate with logistics partners and internal teams to streamline supply chain operations.
Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and company policies.
Develop and implement strategies to improve cost efficiency in the shipping process.
Maintain accurate documentation for all shipping activities and transactions.
Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to shipping processes.
Provide regular updates and reports to management on shipping performance.Profile

A successful Shipping Manager should have:

Experience in logistics or shipping operations, ideally within the chemicals industry.
A strong understanding of supply chain processes and procedures, including Dangerous Goods trained in Air (IATA ICAO), Sea (IMDG), Road (ADR)
Proficiency in using relevant software, and support ERP development in this area
Passion for team management and development
Strong communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders effectively.Job Offer
