Job Title: Technical Detailer
Location: Swadlincote
Job Type: Full-time - Days role
Salary: £26,000-£35,000

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Technical Detailer to join our dynamic design and engineering team. This role involves creating accurate technical drawings and detailed construction documents for architectural and structural projects, working closely with engineers, architects, and project managers.

Key Responsibilities:

Produce high-quality 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit.

Interpret architectural and engineering specifications to create accurate detailing.

Collaborate with the design and technical teams to ensure coordination across disciplines.

Maintain drawing standards and ensure documentation complies with industry codes and best practices.

Revise drawings and layouts to accommodate changes and enhancements.

Assist in product development and technical support where needed.

Required Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in a similar detailing or drafting role.

Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Revit or other BIM software is advantageous.

Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building regulations.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Effective communication skills and ability to work within a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

HND, HNC, or Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction, or related field.

Experience in the building materials or construction products industry.
