Interaction Recruitment are looking for a dedicated and skilled Assembly Operative to join our client in Hemel Hempstead. The successful candidate will have experience in assembly and a strong understanding of using various tools to complete assembly tasks. Machine operating experience is a plus but not essential. The role involves working as part of a team to assemble products, ensuring high-quality standards and safety practices are followed at all times.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17:00

Pay Rate: £12.30 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble products efficiently and accurately using hand tools, power tools, and machinery.

Conduct routine checks on assembly equipment and machinery to ensure proper functionality.

Read and interpret assembly instructions, diagrams, and technical drawings.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.

Follow quality control processes to ensure all products meet the required standards.

Report any defects or issues in materials or equipment to the Supervisor.

Assist with machine operation and troubleshooting when required.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Work closely with other team members to meet daily production targets.

Essential Skills and Experience:

Assembly experience with hand tools and power tools is essential.

Prior experience in machine operation is desired but not mandatory.

Ability to follow assembly instructions and technical drawings with precision.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

Basic problem-solving skills to address operational issues.

Ability to maintain a safe and tidy work area.

Desirable Skills:

Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

Knowledge of operating basic production machinery.

Familiarity with quality control processes.
