This Electronics Technician job will suit:
* A Technician with practical electronics experience, ideally instrument calibration and repair.
* A recently completed apprenticeship or college qualification within an electronics related discipline.
* You are likely to have a relevant qualification (HND / BTEC or Degree) in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or similar discipline.
* Ability to read and create basic electronic designs.
* Hands on in nature and have an inquisitive mindset when it comes to electronics and testing.

* Performing multi-disciplinary instrument calibration and repair within a scientific environment.
* Read and create basic electronics designs and PCB layouts
* Mechanical and electrical assembly methods and practices, including digital interfacing techniques.
* Preparation of technical calibration reports.
* Fault finding to component level, soldering to replace surface mount devices.
