Deputy Manager – Children’s Residential Home

We are seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager in leading a Children’s Residential Home in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to take a senior leadership role, ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance for young people.

Key Responsibilities

* Support and deputise for the Registered Manager in daily operations

* Lead staff, supervise performance, and promote best practice

* Ensure safeguarding procedures and care standards are consistently met

* Attend case conferences, reviews, and planning meetings

* Oversee administration, reporting, and compliance with regulations

Education & Experience

* Level 3/4 Diploma in Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services

* Level 5 Leadership Diploma (or willingness to work towards)

* Minimum 2 years in a senior/team leader role in a Children’s Home

* Strong knowledge of residential care, safeguarding, and regulatory frameworks
