About the Role:
As Team Leader, you’ll support the Registered Manager in delivering high-quality, child-centred care. You’ll be working within a solo EBD placement, helping to create a safe, stable, and nurturing home. Responsibilities include:
Providing day-to-day leadership and guidance to support staff
Acting as a key worker and role model for the young person in placement
Supporting behaviour management and therapeutic routines
Ensuring safeguarding procedures and care plans are followed
Leading shifts, delegating tasks, and ensuring consistency in care
Promoting emotional resilience, independence, and positive outcomes

About You:
Experienced in residential childcare (EBD or similar needs)
Confident leading shifts and supporting less experienced staff
Emotionally resilient, calm under pressure, and genuinely child-focused
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or working towards it)
Committed to working a rota including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
