Job Summary

* We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team.

* The successful Warehouse Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse by handling materials, managing inventory, and supporting shipping and receiving processes.

* This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

* Perform materials handling tasks including loading and unloading goods from lorries.

* Order picking and packing products ready for despatch.

* Execute picking and packing of orders accurately and efficiently.

* Assist in shipping and receiving activities, ensuring all items are accounted for.

* Maintain an organised warehouse environment by keeping work areas clean and tidy.

* Conduct regular stock checks to ensure inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

* Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not essential

* Familiarity with materials handling equipment, including forklifts, is advantageous.

* Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.

* Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.

* Capability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

* Basic understanding of shipping and receiving processes is beneficial.

* Willingness to learn new systems and processes related to warehouse operations.
