Maintenance Electrician
Cauldon, Stoke on Trent
Starting Salary: £41,605 p/a (£45,037 after training)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday Days 8AM-4PM (3:30PM finish Friday)

This site in Cauldon is responsible for producing Cement and Lime products, sold to building merchants such as EH Smiths, Wicks and B&Q.

Machinery List: Rolling Mill, Kilns, Conveyors, Robots (Fanuc, ABB & Cougar), Mixing tanks, Holding Hoppers, Drying Systems, Conveyors, Pumps, Weighing systems, Vision Inspection, Bagging machines, Shrink Wrappers and Palletisers.
The Role: Maintenance Electrician
PLC's: Siemens, Allen Bradley & Mitsubishi
- Maintenance and installation on a wide range of LV/HV equipment.
- Fault finding using PLC's, Multi-Meters and at times Schematic drawings.
- Resolving breakdowns, fixing machinery and replacing electrical components.
- PPM Maintenance, carrying out routine inspections.
Entry requirements:

Qualifications: City & Guilds, NVQ or BTEC Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering, Maintenance or Installation, preferably through a recognised apprenticeship.

Experience: 5 years minimum experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer ideally within the Heavy industry (Aggregates, Quarrying, Recycling) though not essential.
