Teaching Assistant – Primary

Location: Brighton

Pay: £89.05-£97.50 per day

Hours: 08:30 – 15:30

Contract Type: Part-time

Supply Desk are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join one of the fantastic schools we service in Brighton. This role offers flexibility, with opportunities to make a difference, make a change and feel real good!

Key Responsibilities:

‍ Provide 1:1 or small group support for children with SEN, adapting to their unique learning needs.
Create a positive, inclusive environment that promotes the well-being and development of every student.
Manage challenging behaviour, using appropriate de-escalation techniques.
Adapt to different school environments and work collaboratively with staff.
Requirements:

✔️ Experience working with children with SEN (including Autism, ADHD, or learning difficulties) is highly desirable.
A genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of children with SEN.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
️ Current DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
