Freelance Site Manager Opportunity – Groundworks Project

6 Months Contract- £270-£290 per day

Middlesbrough-3rd November start

BCS Connect are seeking an experienced Site Manager for an upcoming groundworks project starting early November and running until April next year.

They are looking for an individual with a strong civils and groundworks background and ability to manage multiple Groundworks Gangs.

Duties will include:
Supervising and coordinating groundworks teams on site
Overseeing light drainage installation and repairs
Managing kerb replacement and slab laying
Ensuring finishing works meet quality standards
Monitoring general groundworks activities, including site preparation, excavation, and reinstatement
Ensuring health & safety compliance on site at all times
Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to keep the project on schedule

Requirements:
SMSTS or CSCS Black Card
1st Aid certification
Proven experience leading groundworks teams
