Job role: Drivers Mate

Location: Culcavy, Lisburn

Pay rate: £12.49 per hour, overtime at 1.5 rate after 45 hours

Hours: Monday- Friday 6am to finish (usually around 4pm)

Blue Arrow are excited to open this opportunity for Drivers Mates to work for our internationally renowned logistics client in the BT26 post code area. The role involves travelling in a Class 2 vehicle with a driver and assisting with the multi drop deliveries to customers across Northern Ireland of both pallets and kegs. This will involve manual handling and heavy lifting. The role boasts a great work life balance with Monday-Friday work. Based in Culcavy, own transport preferable due to location of site.

Your responsibilities:

* Unloading and loading of stock

* Attention to detail required on any paperwork

* Good level of verbal and writing understanding required due to filling orders etc.

You will have:

* Previous warehouse or drivers mate experience

* Manual handling skills - this is a physically demanding role, you need to have the ability to regularly lift and move goods up to 25kg

* Awareness of Health & Safety practices in and away from the workplace

* Good level of verbal and written communication skills in English

* High level of accuracy, striving for 100% accuracy and maximum productivity in all tasks

* Flexibility and reliability (attendance at work) is essential

* Excellent team working skills along with the ability to work independently

* Great work ethic
