Salary: £90–£100 per day (dependent on experience)

We are working in partnership with a well-established and inclusive secondary school in Southwest London to recruit a Learning Resources Centre (LRC) Assistant for the upcoming academic year. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a love of reading, excellent organisational skills, and a desire to support secondary school students in their learning journey.
As the LRC Assistant, you will be the friendly and knowledgeable presence in the school’s vibrant Learning Resources Centre. Your role will involve:
Managing the day-to-day running of the school library
Assisting students in locating and borrowing learning materials
Supporting literacy development and promoting a love for reading
Organising book displays, reading events, and author visits
Maintaining the library database and keeping resources in order
Helping students with ICT equipment and online researchThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:
A genuine passion for literacy and supporting young people
Experience working in a school, library, or similar setting (desirable)
Excellent communication and administrative skills
Confidence in using IT and library systems
A calm, organised, and proactive approach to work
