Nelson Permanent Placements are working with our client recruiting for a Press Setter/Operator for a well-established company in West Bromwich who provide cable solutions are widely used in education, commercial, housing, industrial, and healthcare sectors across the UK.
To be considered for this role as a Press Setter/Operator you will be:
* Hands on experience as a Press Setter/Operator
* Able to work as part of a team and as an individual
* Motivation to beat targets safely and required quality standards
Key Responsibilities of this role as a Press Setter/Operator you will be:
* Set and Operate power Presses and ancillary equipment
* Assemble products and frames to drawings
* Produce parts at the correct rate and report any issues with achieving that rate
* Take responsibility for the quality of the parts produced
* Ensure good levels of 5S are maintained in the area
* Keep production and quality related records up to date
* Be involved in continuous improvement processes driving through improvements
* Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed
Requirements of a Press Setter/Operator you will:
* Be able to comply with and promote company values
* Have a good knowledge and hands on experience of Power Press setting and operation
* Able to work as part of a team and as an individual
* Motivation to beat targets safely and required quality standards

Week 1, Monday to Thursday 6am- 2pm & Friday 6am – 1pm
Week 2, Monday to Thursday 2pm- 10pm & Friday 1pm – 8pm
