We’re looking for a proactive, team-oriented Water Safety & International Administrator to become a vital part of our Water Safety Team. In this dynamic role, you’ll provide front-line support and administrative services across all Water Safety and International activities. You’ll work closely with volunteers and staff to deliver impactful water safety interventions.

Your role

As our Water Safety & International Administrator, you’ll provide vital front-line support and co-ordination for volunteers, staff, and external partners. You’ll be the go-to person for all things administrative, ensuring smooth operations, accurate records, and exceptional service delivery.

- Responding to queries from internal teams, volunteers, partners, and the public via phone and online platforms
- Supporting visits, events, travel arrangements, and expense claims for Water Safety and International teams
- Training and guiding Water Safety volunteers and colleagues on RNLI systems, empowering them in their prevention work
- Managing bookings and capturing relevant data for reporting and relationship management
- Maintaining accurate database records and supporting procurement and payment processes
- Co-ordinating the ordering and fulfilment of resources for colleagues, volunteers, schools, and events
- Proactively engaging with volunteers and partners to exchange and gather key information, ensuring they feel recognised and valued for their contributions
- Offering specialist guidance and coordination to ensure our water safety messaging reaches everyone—locally and globally

About you

As a key member of the Water Safety Team, you will be passionate about water safety, have excellent customer service skills, and be an efficient administrator who can support our team of volunteers, customers, the regional Water Safety team and the International team.

To be considered as the Water Safety & International Administrator, you will need:

- GCSEs or equivalent
- Customer service training or experience
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office packages
- Knowledge of using Oracle databases or similar
- Problem solving
- Experience of working with volunteers or customers
- Experience in data management and reporting
- Safeguarding knowledge
