Description
The key responsibilities of an Accounts Manager / Bookkeeper will be:
Record, process, and reconcile supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
Ensure timely and accurate payment of supplier accounts
Create and issue customer invoices in line with agreed terms
Manage CIS returns and maintain accurate associated records
Prepare and submit VAT returns in accordance with HMRC requirements
Carry out daily banking and bank reconciliations
Oversee general bookkeeping and maintain organised financial records
Provide financial support and insight to the company director and site teams
Assist with payroll preparation and processing as required
Profile
Proven experience in a similar accounts role within the construction sector
Comfortable working in an SME business
Proficient in Sage 50 Accounts
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks independently
Knowledge of CIS is essential
Experience with payroll is desirable, but not essentialJob Offer

Full-time, office-based role (40 hours per week, 8:00am - 4:30pm) with flexibility on hours
33 days holiday per year (including bank holidays)
