The Role

As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be a key player in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients advanced manufacturing plant. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

* Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM): Carrying out routine servicing to minimise downtime.

* Reactive Maintenance: Responding to breakdowns, troubleshooting faults and implementing fast, effective fixes.

* Continuous Improvement: Identifying and delivering opportunities to improve machine reliability and efficiency.

* Engineering Projects: Supporting installations, upgrades and modifications to production equipment.

* Compliance & Safety: Ensuring all work is completed to the highest safety and regulatory standards.

About You

We’re looking for an engineer who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys solving technical challenges. The ideal candidate will have:

* Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer, Technician or similar role in a manufacturing, processing or engineering setting.

* A strong background in electrical and/or mechanical engineering (multi-skilled preferred).

* Confidence in diagnosing faults, reading technical drawings and using diagnostic equipment.

* Knowledge of PLC systems and automation would be a bonus (but not essential).

* A flexible, proactive approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
