A client of ours in the Colchester area are recruiting a Bookkeeper and Payroll Clerk to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm and paying £13.00 - £16.00 per hour depending on experience.

Key Duties include but are not limited to:

Using Sage Payroll to run payroll for more than 50 clients, mostly monthly
Monthly returns for CIS.
Completion of VAT returns/ management accounts, mostly quarterly but some monthly
Reconciliations
Inputting/checking data for clients
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Bookkeeper and Payroll Clerk position:

Proficient in using Xero, Quickbooks and Sage accounting
Experience within accountancy, payroll or bookkeeping
Experience in dealing with multiple clients
Proactive
Confident and strong communication skills
Good at working within a small team
