Production Operative

Our rural Ledbury based client is seeking a Production Operative to join them on a full time and permanent basis. You will be working with a small team of production workers to ensure efficient and compliant operations within a food & beverage production environment.

What you can expect:

* Pay rate: £12.21+ per hour

* Working hours: 40 hours per week, 7.30am – 4pm Monday to Friday

What you will be doing:

* Working on a production line bottling line, filling 5 litre and 1 litre bottles

* Ensure continuous movement of bottles along the line

* Checking for jams, misaligned labels, or improperly capped bottles and take corrective action

* Learn to set up and monitor machines used for bottling, capping, and labelling

* Ensuring all boxes are labelled correctly

* Assisting with the packing of bottles used for gifts and other small packages, ready for distribution

* Follow cleaning schedules and procedures to meet industry health and safety standards

What we are looking for:

* Prior production experience, food & beverage industry preferred but not essential

* Candidates offering additional skills e.g. FLT, First Aid etc, a higher pay rate will be considered

* Proactive and willing to learn

* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

* Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

* Awareness of health and safety regulations

* Own transport essential due to location
