Maintenance Project Manager South of Stratford upon Avon

Do you have extensive experience in the Rolling Stock sector? Are you looking for a new challenge that could really shape your career?

We are supporting our client in the search for an Operations Project Manager based out of their state of the art facility in Stratford upon Avon. You will be involved in rolling stock projects and contracts for the site and ensuring they are delivered on-time, to standard and budget.

You will also be involved in;

* Overseeing the safe delivery of all rolling stock maintenance activities for the site

* Forging strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to support growth of projects.

* You’ll work with internal teams to conduct deliverability assessments to ensure scope of and requirements of rolling stock projects are in place to enable safe delivery.

* Developing and maintaining risk registers for all projects and support audit of suppliers ensuring compliance and contractual compliance

* Develop and implement KPI’s to proactively monitor project delivery and performance

* Undertake inspections of maintenance facilities and carry out walkarounds with suppliers/customers

* You will be involved in reviewing contract variations to ensure applicability and value for money

What you’ll have;

* Extensive experience in the Rolling stock sector, particularly around maintenance activities at a depot base or similar

* Good knowledge of Project/Contract management in an operational environment

* You’ll have knowledge of railway depot management

* Experience in managing third party suppliers and stakeholders

* A good understanding of vehicle maintenance and overhaul requirements

* It would be great if you have a Project Management certification however not essential
