About the Role:

You’ll lead a solo occupancy home in Torquay, providing individualised care for a young person with emotional and behavioural needs. As Registered Manager, you will:

• Deliver therapeutic, child-focused care in a stable and nurturing setting

• Build and retain a high-performing team with consistent, trauma-informed practice

• Ensure care plans are fully tailored and inclusive of all areas of need

• Foster a consultative culture where the child’s voice is heard and acted on

• Maintain the highest standards in care, compliance, safeguarding, and home performance

• Work collaboratively with professionals, families, and clinical teams

About You:

• At least 2 years’ experience in residential childcare, with 1 year in a supervisory role

• Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care (essential)

• Level 5 in Leadership and Management (preferred or willing to enrol within 6 months)

• Clear understanding of Quality Standards, SCCIF, and safeguarding expectations

• Resilient, emotionally intelligent, and passionate about making a difference

• Full UK driving licence required
