Multi Skilled Operatives

At Build Recruitment, we work exclusively with built environment specialists around the UK. 

Our client is looking for Multi Skilled Operatives to join their team on a 12 week temp to permanent basis. The ideal candidate will be working on their Social Housing Repairs contracts in planned and reactive maintenance to void and tenanted properties across Knowsley, Salford & Oldham.

Duties of the successful Multi Skilled Operative will include:

Liaising with clients and tenants ensuring appointments and repairs are completed to a high standard. Using their skillset to work effectively in a team to carry out general home maintenance repairs to void & tenanted properties.

To be successful in this role you will have proven experience in as many of the below duty areas:

- Kitchen, bathroom & wet room replacements

- Joinery - UPVC doors & windows, Internal doors & frames, Skirting & architrave etc

- Plastering - Patch Plastering, Damp repairs, full room plastering

- Tiling - Screed & vinyl tiles, Ceramic Wall Tiling

- Painting & Decorating And must also have the below qualities:

- Hold a relevant trades qualification (NVQ2 or equivalent)

- Hold a full UK Driving Licence (preferably clean)

- Have experience in Social Housing Repairs

- Have, or are willing to have a DBS check

Pay rate - £19PH CIS (First 12 weeks) based on a 40 hour week.

Salary after 12 weeks - £32,000 per annum.

Van and fuel card provided.
