My client is a leading M&E HVAC company seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team. With a strong focus on delivering exceptional service, we are looking for a mission-driven professional who is passionate about their craft and committed to making a difference. This role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of premises, including schools, pubs, and high-end residential properties, in the areas of Kent, Essex, and Hertfordshire.

Door-to-door travel, minus 30mins each way, 1 hour in total for travel time.

Day-to-Day

Travel to client sites (day-to-day travel minus 30 minutes each way).
Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of commercial gas systems.
Respond to call-outs as part of the rota (1 in 8 weeks).
Work on a variety of premises, including schools, pubs, and high-end residential properties.
Collaborate with a supportive team to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance, servicing, and repair of commercial gas systems across a variety of premises.
Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently to ensure minimal disruption to clients.
Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Participate in a call-out rota (1 in 8 weeks) to provide emergency support when required.
Maintain accurate records of work completed and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Travel to client sites within Kent, Essex, and Hertfordshire adhering to company travel policies.

Qualifications

Valid commercial gas tickets (essential).
5-10+ years of experience in the HVAC or commercial gas industry.
Proven track record of reliability and loyalty, with a preference for candidates who demonstrate long-term commitment to previous employers.
Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
